Identify, evaluate, implement, and support IT/automation solutions and information systems to meet FUS business objectives. Ferring US is also Great Places to Work® Certified, distinguishing it as one of the best companies to work for in the country.     Responsibilities:    Serve as a representative for production information and automation systems with a focus on customer support. Assist in trouble-shooting challenging IT/automation issues to improve manufacturing performance (e.g. yield improvements, etc.) for assigned systems. Maintain the IT/automation systems in compliance with cGMPs. Provide support as a representative of a startup or existing production team providing technical assistance in fulfilling the IT/automation requirements for the team. Develop and support corrective actions for investigations related to automation or IT systems. Use technical knowledge to assure the efficient operation of variety of automated processing and information technology systems. On-floor support of manufacturing activities. Provide support for business area applications. Support of regulatory inspections and audits. Support of validation activities and all other associated Quality functions. Support supplies and maintenance of IT/automation equipment: PC/Tablets/Mobiles Devices. Optimize the service from IT supplier. Review- documentation, maintenance work orders, and SOPs to ensure compliance with GMP and safety. Manage and assist people in the usage of for IT technology in manufacturing group.   Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Controls, or related field) OR a combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of a formal engineering degree. 3+ years of relevant experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Exposure to industrial automation environment preferred. Familiarity with production equipment and testing process flow. A strong aptitude in IT. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, computer hardware and software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem solver with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced. Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA part 11 Guideline and GAMP5. Prior experience in Building Management and Environmental Monitoring systems (EMS/BMS) related IT Systems / PLC / SCADA. Knowledge on Switches, Actuators, Sensors, VFD’s, HMI, SCADA, I&C. SQL Database experience preferred. The base salary range for this role is $103,800 to $125,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities,   education   and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.     Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to   120 hours   in the first four (4) years of employment, and   160 hours   in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as   15   paid holidays per year.   We are proud to offer paid parental leave subject to a minimum period of employment at Ferring.        Ferring is an equal   opportunity   employer.
