Job Description : The primary duties and responsibilities of the QA Analyst consist of, but are not limited to, the following: At the beginning of each shift check the production schedule, walk the floor to become familiar with the products that are running, and consult with the outgoing QA Technician for any items of concern. Collect samples from each injection molding machine and secondary process for the required attribute / dimensional / functional testing per the specified frequency. Record the results in the appropriate forms/Shopfloor. Notify the Shift Supervisor of any non-conformance that are found. Monitor active concerns for prompt resolution and elevate issue up the Management chain if the non-conformance is not being addressed. Notify the Quality Manager of any quality defects which are not corrected promptly. Identify non-conforming product with “Hold” labels and update the hold log. Perform in-process attribute verification and document checks and record results. Perform first shot verification and document the results using the appropriate forms. Notify the Quality Manager immediately of any Quality Department equipment deficiencies. At the end of the shift communicate any ongoing concerns / lingering issues to incoming QA Technician.
