About QBE   At QBE, we get to the heart of what matters for our customers. And we do it all with a human touch.    We’re an international insurer with more than 13,000 people working across 26 countries – which means we’re big enough for your ambitions, yet small enough for you to make a real impact. It’s an exciting time. We’re building momentum towards our vision to become the most consistent and innovative risk partner.   What if you could have a positive impact – at work and in the world? As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.  Your new role: Bring the Claims strategy to life by leading day‑to‑day performance across the AP Claims team, ensuring service excellence and strong commercial outcomes Manage and coach a team of Claims professionals (6–9 direct reports), including colleagues based across the UK and international locations, creating an inclusive and high‑performing environment Monitor claims performance, trends and repairer outcomes, using data and insight to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement Work closely with Underwriters and key stakeholders to deliver claims services in line with contractual commitments and customer expectations Champion quality, compliance and best‑practice claims handling, ensuring regulatory standards and QBE’s Claims Handling Philosophy are embedded Use MI, reporting and storytelling to support decision‑making, improve outcomes and influence change Identify and address performance or capability gaps, supporting individuals through coaching, feedback and development planning Embrace technology, data and emerging tools (including AI) to continuously improve efficiency, insight and customer experience Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and partners to support cost control, quality and customer retention Lead with flexibility and trust, supporting hybrid working (typically two days a week in the office) while keeping teams connected and engaged Having the right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role.  QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion. About You Proven experience in Claims, with exposure to managing people, performance and service delivery in a fast‑paced environment Experience working in automotive protection would be preferred, but is not essential.
