Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking Principal Industrial Security Analyst / Investigator  - to support restricted programs full time on-site in Palmdale, CA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Enterprise Security Manager and will be charged with providing critical program security support for Department of Defense (DoD) and Special Access Program (SAP) contracts/activities. Roles and Responsibilities:  Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.). Regularly assist the CSSO/ACSSO in daily tasks. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and related briefings. Primary responsibilities include investigating security violations, infractions, and incidents and preparing reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Must effectively interface daily with site management, government, NG program management and other NG engineering and functional staff. The candidate must have a high degree of problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision and should have some degree of knowledge of security procedures with multiple agencies. Must possess the ability to adapt to constantly changing demands and demonstrate the capability to take on new and unfamiliar tasks. Requirement to make some independent decisions, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions to management is essential. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and possess the ability to work with others collaboratively in a professional and high-energy environment. Some travel may be required to support off-site activities and customer requirements. This position will be 1st shift schedule (9/80 or 4/10), phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree with 5 years of security experience or related experience; Masters Degree with 3 years of security experience or related experience OR an additional 4 years of security experience or related experience will be considered in-lieu of a degree Candidate must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret. Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations  Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies  Candidate must be a US Citizen  In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PR) completed within the last 5 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program  Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access  Proficient knowledge of the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07; 32 CFR Part 17 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)  Must have the ability to lift/carry up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders. Preferred Qualifications: Investigator experience Experience with: DISS, JADE, SIMS Experience with Physical Security requirements and knowledge of ICD-705 and TEMPEST counter measures Strong leadership skills to include: Self-starter with minimal supervision, high ethical standards, organized and efficient at time management  Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions in the midst of ambiguity and meet deadlines  Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables  Top Secret Clearance with SCI Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
