Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee To assist with accounting and reporting activities ensuring the accuracy and consistency of underlying data and to liaise with external and internal customers to formulate and implement policy Primary Responsibilities • Ensure that all transactions are documented correctly to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP or relevant financial reporting standards • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and intercompany transactions • Adhere strictly to audit and management requirements, along with complying with the company policy and procedures • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders • Oversee all requests are responded to by the team in a timely, professional manner • Provide timely and accurate reports monitoring and analysis to the business • Complete month end and run reports assigned by the business • Resolve escalated issues raised by the team Required Education • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance • A CPA license is an advantage but not required Required Experience • 2 years relevant experience Preferred Competencies/Skills • Strong customer service focus and stakeholder management • Process Oriented • Proficiency in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc) • Strong focus on details • Problem solving and analytical skills Preferred Experience • Experience in a shared service environment is desired but not essential Preferred Knowledge • Knowledge in Accounting principles QBE Cultural DNA • Everything we do at QBE is underpinned by our DNA (which interlinks seven cultural elements) – because we know it's not just what we do that matters, it's how we do it that makes the difference.
