Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Network Systems Architect to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. In this role, you will provide network technical expertise to a large Space Program. What you'll get to do: Design, deployment and maintenance of networks. Interface with other groups to gain a heightened understanding of customer network requirements to include implementation of DISA STIGs. Ancillary duties will include, but are not limited to: evaluation of vendor products, providing recommendations to purchase hardware and software, providing backup recovery, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, building of systems and computing asset management. Architect and assist in the successful deployment of international networks. Implement Cyber requirements via STIG automation. Integration of networks / time servers and other network devices. Assist with integrating products within labs and development environments. Help to maintain the information assurance posture of the system. Formulate innovative solutions to problems as they arise. Basic Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 0 years of relevant experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Active SCI/CI Poly required at the time of application Experience with IP subnetting Experience with L1 thru L3 networking Experience with static and dynamic routing protocols Knowledge of Cisco Systems networking, to include the deployment of complex WAN configurations across several sites (including international) DISA STIG as they apply to network devices Security+ Certification   Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Solarwinds network monitoring Experience with Cisco ISE applications Experience with Crypto units Microsoft Visio Diagram creation CISSP or Microsoft OS Certification Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
