Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Survivability/Engineer Survivability.   This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Survivability directorate. The selected candidate will perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Other duties include: Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Survivability (T01) or Engineer Survivability (T02) Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer Survivability (T01) A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026. Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree. A current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Secret security clearance or higher is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP/PAR clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated DoD Top Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position. Active clearance preferred. Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Survivability (T02) A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2026 and 2 years of engineering experience Be majoring in or having majored in list degree majors that are acceptable for position or similar STEM degree.  A current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Secret security clearance or higher is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP/PAR clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated DoD Top Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position. Active clearance preferred. Preferred Qualifications Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher. Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular). Prior experience with computational electromagnetic (CEM) analysis. Prior experience with integration and testing of systems. Pay Range Associate Engineer Survivability: $65,800.00 - $ 98,800.00 Engineer Survivability: $ 79,300.00 - $118,900.00 campusjobs Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
