About the role As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own the end-to-end recruiting process for technical roles, primarily within Engineering. You will partner closely with hiring managers and recruiting teammates to source, assess, and hire top talent that advances Zillow’s products and technology. This role blends hands-on sourcing, full-cycle recruiting execution, and stakeholder partnership, with opportunities to deepen your strategic influence as you help shape hiring plans and processes over time. You Will Get To Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical roles, from intake and calibration through sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and close.  Partner closely with hiring managers and recruiting teammates to clarify role requirements, align on hiring strategy, and share ongoing market and pipeline insights.  Build, engage, and maintain diverse technical talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and thoughtful, personalized candidate outreach.  Deliver a high-quality candidate experience by guiding candidates through each stage of the process, communicating clearly and consistently, and supporting offer discussions through acceptance.  Use recruiting data and funnel insights to track progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and influence hiring decisions and processes over time. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions. In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Who you are 5+ years of technical recruiting experience. Strong sourcing expertise building diverse pipelines through multi-channel and platform outreach. Proficiency with recruiting systems and tools such as Workday, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter. A data-driven partner to hiring managers who can define role requirements, shape recruiting strategy, and use funnel insights to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience. Mentor and develop junior recruiters; lead implementation of process improvements and best practices Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, using influence and negotiation skills to drive alignment and de-escalate challenges Working knowledge of engineering roles and profiles including core technical skill sets to conduct effective screens and partner with interviewers.
