Assembler – Prototyping & Laser Subsystems Novanta Precision Manufacturing Stockport, UK Join a world leader in laser‑based precision technologies where your work directly shapes innovations in healthcare, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. We are recruiting multiple Assemblers for a scale up of production at our Novanta Stockport site. Why this role is exciting Work hands‑on with laser scan systems and cutting‑edge opto‑mechatronics. Build and test prototypes for new product innovation. Be part of a global company known for high‑precision photonics engineering. Collaborate with experts in engineering, optics, and electronics. Contribute to technology used in minimally invasive surgery, industrial robotics and 3D printing . What you will do Assemble, test, and verify laser scan systems and controllers. Support prototype builds and new product development. Perform troubleshooting and system corrections. Measure optical components and maintain quality documentation. Inspect incoming electronics and contribute to continuous improvement. What you bring Vocational training in electronics / mechatronics / electrical engineering. Manual dexterity and precision working style. Ability to interpret 2D/3D technical drawings. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset. At Novanta, we want you to perform at your best.
