As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications. You will also need to ensure that the quality control standards are met. Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Primary Responsibilities: Assembling components or sub-assemblies using appropriate tools and following specific guidelines and procedures Inspecting parts for defects or damage Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment Maintaining a clean and organized work area Productivity Quality Safety Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies: Delivery Competency - Be able to read, interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, technical manuals, and schematics Competency - Be able to use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers. Competency - Be able to communicate effectively Experience - Have experience in manufacturing or a desire to learn, along with consistent attention to detail Competency - Following safety procedures and guidelines Action Oriented - Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things that he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes opportunities when they arise. Compensation and Benefits: The base pay for this position is $23.00 per hour. Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
