Job Description Summary Area Sales Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our team in Guwahati, Assam. Key Responsibilities Develop and carry out strategic sales plans to reach business objectives in the healthcare sector. Identify and pursue new business prospects within hospitals, institutions, and government tenders. Manage distribution channels and ensure flawless execution of sales initiatives. Coordinate and conduct professional education programs for healthcare professionals to drive product adoption. Maintain positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and manage dealer networks effectively. Attend medical procedures with healthcare providers to demonstrate product capabilities. Monitor market trends, recognize threats and opportunities, and suggest strategies to address them. Travel a minimum of 10-12 days out of the headquarters each month to cover the assigned territory. Candidate Requirements Proven experience in the health services industry, preferably with exposure to surgical or diagnostic organizations. Demonstrated experience collaborating with hospitals, institutions, and government tenders. Experience in distribution and coordinating professional education programs for healthcare professionals. Preferably experienced with medical devices, especially in specialties such as Biopsy, Oncology, Nephrology, Radiology, and Urology. Outstanding candidates from other specialties will also be considered. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Past experience in a med tech device company and an MBA will be preferred. Skills and Attributes Proven ability to open new territories and expand market presence. Strong analytical abilities to monitor market trends and identify strategic responses.
