Summary of Position: We are seeking a Senior Developer with around 4 years of experience in full-stack web development to lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of our web-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support our mission to improve lives through innovative eye care.  Key Responsibilities : Lead and contribute to the development of web-based applications, including both front-end and back-end components.  Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.  Design and implement software architecture and core components.  Develop responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as ReactJS , Angular , or VueJS .  Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js , Express.js , or SpringBoot .  Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.  Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring.  Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, proposing improvements to enhance performance and scalability.  Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.  4+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.  Proficiency in JavaScript (Primary) , TypeScript , and frameworks like React , Angular (Primary) , or Vue.js .  Experience with Node.js or Express.js (Good to have) , and/or SpringBoot for backend development.  Familiarity with IAM platforms and protocols such as SAML , OpenID Connect , and OAuth 2.0 .  Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).  Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.  Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Effective communication and collaboration abilities.  Preferred Skills   Knowledge of accessibility and performance optimization.  Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.  Work hours: 12 PM to 9 PM IST Relocation assistance: Yes Employment Scams:  Alcon is aware of employment scams which make false use of our company name or leader’s names to defraud job seekers.
