Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to design and deliver Digital Health applications that can seamlessly operate in hybrid environments. This role combines strategic architecture planning with deep technical execution, ensuring all applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for hybrid deployments. You will lead architecture decisions, design solutions, mentor engineers, and remain actively involved in coding and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Hybrid Deployment Strategy Define architecture, design and deployment strategies for applications to run in hybrid environments - on-prem and Cloud native. Ensure compatibility, performance, and security across diverse infrastructures. Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, Cross-functional architects to align technical solutions with business goals. Hands-on Development Design and build solutions using Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern front-end frameworks (React). Implement RESTful APIs, integrate front-end components, and optimize application performance. Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce best practices. Hardware & Architecture Acumen Understand hardware dependencies, system components, and integration with medical devices. Drive architectural decisions for scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization. Security & Compliance Implement authentication, authorization and secure communication protocols. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements. Serviceability & Remote Updates Design solutions for serviceability, remote software updates, patching, and version control. Build mechanisms for rollback, fail-safe deployments, and minimal downtime. Monitoring & Operational Readiness Implement observability measures and create dashboards for performance and reliability. Prepare detailed documentation and ensure smooth handover to Operations Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience 10–14+ years in software engineering with 4+ years as a Tech Lead, still actively coding. Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React. Expertise in hybrid deployment strategies (on-prem and Cloud-hosted). Knowledge of hardware integration, system architecture, and performance tuning. Familiarity with device authentication, security frameworks, and compliance standards. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and networking fundamentals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to regulated environments (e.g., healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR, GDPR). Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements. Ability to lead design reviews and mentor engineering teams.
