While reporting to the Plant Engineer- Presidents Island Memphis, the Industrial Electrician/Instrumentation Tech will be responsible for achieving a high level of reliability for plant equipment through performing tasks to reduce machine downtime and enable the facility to perform at optimum levels. What you’ll be doing: Perform preventive maintenance as assigned daily, weekly, monthly, etc. Sign out all parts taken from the storeroom returning any that were not used Fill out work order detail Help troubleshoot and repair operational equipment as needed Participate in the continuous improvement efforts on maintenance effectiveness to eliminate breakdowns and increase equipment reliability. Inspects assigned equipment to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Verifies all safety devices (guards, control circuit devices, stop blocks, etc.) on assigned equipment are always intact and properly secured. Follows all energy isolation requirements. We’d love to hear from you if: Have 5 years industrial/commercial electrician experience Journeyman License or Industrial Electrician License required within 6 months of employment.
