Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One. Job Description We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Content Strategist to shape how Business Banking content supports digital marketing goals and helps business owners make confident financial decisions. In this role, you’ll define the content strategy behind our digital marketing experiences -  deciding what content we create, how it’s structured, where it lives, and how it supports awareness, consideration, and readiness to engage with a banker. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Business Banking, Product, UX, Analytics, and Compliance to ensure content is clear, useful, and trustworthy across digital channels. This is a strategy‑focused role , not a content production role. What You’ll Do Lead Digital Marketing Content Strategy Define and evolve the digital marketing content strategy for Business Banking. Align content priorities to customer intent, marketing objectives, and the business owner lifecycle. Partner closely with subject matter experts across Business Banking, Product, and Advisory teams to deeply understand products, features, and customer benefits, translating that knowledge into clear, customer‑centric content strategy. Set Editorial Direction Establish editorial frameworks, content themes, and messaging priorities. Clarify the role each piece of content plays within digital marketing channels such as the website. Partner closely with designers to ensure content strategy and editorial direction are integrated into all on page componentry and design elements Design Content Structure & Discoverability Shape content structures and information architecture that make complex financial topics easier to understand. Improve discoverability through clear hierarchies, cross‑linking, and SEO‑informed strategy. Ensure content reduces friction and supports confident decision‑making. Translate Audience Intent into Messaging Turn business owner questions, behaviors, and needs into clear content themes and message frameworks. Ensure content has a defined purpose, primary takeaway, and next step within the marketing journey. Balance educational depth with accessibility. Collaborate Across Teams Partner with Marketing to align content strategy with digital campaigns, channels, and lifecycle programs. Work with Business Banking, Product, and Advisory teams to ensure content reflects real customer needs. Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to ensure content is accurate and appropriately positioned. Coordinate with UX and Digital teams to bring content strategy to life across platforms. Optimize Content Performance Review content performance across digital marketing channels with analytics partners. Use insights to refine messaging, structure, and topic focus. Identify content gaps and opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and customer understanding. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in digital content strategy, content marketing, UX content, or related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or other regulated industries. Familiarity with Business Banking products such as lending, treasury management, payments, or cash flow solutions. Experience working with Compliance, Legal, or Risk partners. Experience supporting digital marketing programs, campaigns, or lifecycle journeys through content strategy. Key Skills & Strengths Strong digital marketing content strategy mindset Ability to design content systems, not just individual assets Comfort working with complex or regulated subject matter under tight timelines Clear, structured communication and messaging judgment Strong copy writing skills Financial curiosity and ability to learn banking concepts Collaborative approach across marketing, product, UX, and analytics Ability to influence content outcomes without owning execution The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
