AHOY is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic team in creating high-quality, user-centric mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative Android applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin or Java. Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into functional applications. Implement complex features and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Android development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Android application development. Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java programming languages. Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries. Solid understanding of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
