Position Summary Are you an experienced communicator who knows how to turn strategy into impact? We are looking for a Senior PR Specialist to lead and execute integrated PR and communication strategies which strengthen our corporate reputation and support our business objectives. You will operate at the intersection of local, European, and global communication, ensuring strong alignment, consistent messaging, and measuring impact across all stakeholders. Role and Responsibilities How you make a difference As Senior PR Specialist you will operate across four main pillars. In Public Relations & Corporate Communications, you will develop and execute aligned PR strategies, manage media relations and crisis communication, and support product launches and corporate announcements while ensuring consistent local implementation of European and global campaigns. You will also drive local CSR initiatives in line with global sustainability frameworks, manage partnerships, and communicate measurable impact. In Internal Communication, you will support leadership messaging, oversee intranet, and deliver engaging internal content aligned with business priorities. Additionally, you will be responsible for Reporting & Stakeholder Alignment where you monitor media, track KPIs, create daily, weekly and monthly executive reports, and hold regular alignment meetings with local management, European office, and global office. Key responsibilities Align PR and communication plans with business objectives and senior management priorities. Coordinate closely with European and global communication teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and key media stakeholders. Organize press events and manage crisis response processes. Monitor competitor communication and market developments. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all PR & communication channels. Execute local CSR initiatives and communicate its impact internally and externally. Provide executive summaries and identify communication risks and opportunities through analysis. Your team As a Senior PR Specialist, you are part of the PR & Communications, CSR & Events structure within Samsung Benelux. In the Netherlands, the PR team consists of a senior PR specialist and a PR specialist. In Belgium, the team consists of a PR Manager and two PR Specialists. The Events team operates at Benelux level and supports corporate and media events. You report to the Head of PR & Communications Benelux, who focuses on strategic direction across the region. In this role, you take senior operational ownership for the Netherlands and ensure high execution standards, strong reporting and alignment with business units and senior management, while working closely with Belgian, European and global communication teams. What are your assets As our new Senior PR Specialist, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and outstanding communication skills, enabling them to drive measurable impact in a dynamic, multinational environment. You have experience with media monitoring tools and diverse reporting dashboards. Thereby, you have strong media relations and writing skills. You have experience with risk assessment and crisis management, as well as evaluating which tasks to prioritize. We also request: A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in PR, corporate communications or a similar role. Media relations and crisis communication Executive reporting and KPI tracking Managing internal communication platforms A good command of the Dutch and English language at a professional level. Skilled in using MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) Skills and Qualifications What’s in it for you? Salary range: €5.380,- – €6.725,- gross per year (full-time), depending on experience and qualifications.
