Role and Responsibilities Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program.  This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected senior or recently graduated students.  The program will run from June 1 to August 7.  Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule.  Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged.  The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Applications submitted after the application window or once a role is closed/projects are full will not be considered. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Transportation team in Santa Ana, CA. As a Transportation Intern, you will assist in managing and optimizing transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transportation management, logistics, and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and coordination of transportation activities, including route optimization and scheduling. Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Support the development and implementation of transportation policies and procedures. Conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform transportation strategies. Prepare reports and presentations on transportation performance and recommendations. Skills and Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or related roles. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
