Position Summary This position is for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar (with benefits) to work on research cognitive changes in aging, the cognitive neuroscience of aging, personally and socio-emotional aging, and/or translational impact. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Information on being a postdoc at WashU in St. Louis can be found at https://postdoc.wustl.edu/prospective-postdocs-2/ . Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to): Study Development: Conducting literature review, designing studies, creating study materials and collecting data. Analyzing Data: Compiling, cleaning, and analyzing data. Writing: Writing manuscripts. Communication: Meet with the PI and the lab regularly to discuss research progress and address any issues that arise. Presentation of Research: Poster presentations and talks at conferences. Working Conditions: This position may require traveling between the Danforth and WashU Medicine campuses. Salary Range: Base pay is commensurate with experience. Skilled at research design, participant recruitment, data management, statistical analysis, and scientific writing, and an interest in mentoring junior lab members in these areas. Expertise with developing and conducting lab, web-based and/or archival psychology studies. Demonstrated ability to complete projects, as evidenced by quantity and quality of publications.
