About the Role: Our Fusion is seeking a Senior-to-Principal (Level 7) backend software Engineer to build out platform products which provide core orchestration and workflow capabilities to all users of Crowdstrike’s Flagship offering, the Falcon Platform. Fusion – a core ‘tier one’ offering in our Flagship Platform, Falcon – is used by customers to automate 80% of breach remediation actions with the Falcon Platform. It also serves as a runtime engine of Foundry, a sibling product which gives the Falcon Platform users access to our whole suite of components as well as exposed APIs for a plethora of our security partners to instantly create custom-purpose 'Frankenstein' security apps by configuring selections in just a handful of dropdown menus. Fusion is among the most heavily used products in Crowdstrike's Falcon product suite. This role is for an experienced backend microservices developer adept with cloud engineering principles, user-facing feature design and development ('or' Fine Grained Auth Expertise), and experience with plenty of custom API development as well as high-scale events processing on a msg queue like Kafka. Your passion and meticulous attention to performance, reliability and scalability will be key ingredients to your success here at CrowdStrike. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
