Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor Location: Dubai Job Summary We are seeking a Junior Accountant with prior experience in the UAE to support daily accounting operations, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and comfortable working with accounting software while maintaining strict compliance with UAE regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts Perform account reconciliations , including bank and ledger reconciliations Prepare and assist with UAE VAT filings and compliance requirements Generate financial reports and maintain supporting documentation Assist with audit preparation and internal financial reviews Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and relevant authorities when required Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting standards 2+ years of accounting experience in the UAE Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance Experience using accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good organizational and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
