Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor Job Summary We’re looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to take full ownership of multiple client accounts. You’ll set strategic direction, lead client calls, and ensure execution across on-page, technical, and content SEO efforts. This is a role for someone who thrives in high-autonomy environments and loves driving real business impact. You'll collaborate closely with internal specialists and act as the go-to SEO expert for your clients—translating complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic. Conduct in-depth keyword research aligned with business goals and search intent. Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure. Perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations (site speed, schema, crawlability, indexing). Manage backlink strategies and outreach campaigns to build domain authority. Track, analyze, and report SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms. Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-optimized blogs, landing pages, and pillar content. Monitor competitor strategies and identify growth opportunities. Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and evolving SEO best practices. 3+ years of experience in an SEO Specialist, SEO Analyst, or SEO Expert role. Proven track record of increasing organic traffic and search rankings. Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console). Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure. Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
