Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor Job Summary We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to support multiple high-growth companies looking to strengthen their online presence, brand voice, and audience engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, data-driven, and experienced in managing social media accounts across multiple platforms. What You’ll Be Doing Conceptualise and develop engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), and TikTok Design, edit, photograph, and film compelling content using Adobe Suite, Canva, and similar tools Develop creative social strategies that accelerate online visibility and engagement Research and pitch new social strategies to clients in a thoughtful, easy-to-understand way Craft compelling captions and storytelling aligned with client goals Create and manage monthly content calendars across all platforms Oversee day-to-day client communications related to content approvals and scheduling via Loomly Coordinate with internal teams via email on assets and deliverables Analyse social media metrics and trends to optimise performance and inform future strategy Assist in creating reports and dashboards to track and measure performance Present key social media insights during client-facing weekly status calls Conduct daily social listening and community engagement Monitor emerging social trends and implement relevant opportunities for clients Lead and mentor a team of Social Media Managers, fostering collaboration and creativity 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment working with high-profile brands Agency experience required Previous experience in B2B marketing Proven track record of growing large, engaged social followings Strong understanding of internet culture, social demographics, and authentic community building Experience leading high-performing teams and managing high volumes of content Ability to influence marketing and product leaders and collaborate cross-functionally Exceptional communication skills (written, editing, verbal, and presentation) Compelling copywriting skills Hands-on experience with content management systems Graphic design and video editing expertise Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities Ability to work autonomously while taking direction from leadership
