Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to provide architectural direction and hands-on leadership for backend, API, and cloud-based solutions. The role involves designing scalable systems, guiding development teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with business and technical objectives. Key Responsibilities Own overall technical architecture and solution design Lead the design and development of scalable RESTful APIs Provide hands-on development using Python and AWS serverless services Design and implement event-driven architectures , including webhooks Define and maintain OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and technical documentation Ensure solutions adhere to security, performance, and scalability best practices Review code, mentor engineers, and enforce coding standards Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders Support integration of APIs with AI-enabled workflows where applicable Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development Strong expertise in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and S3 Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs at scale Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and webhook implementations Proficiency with OpenAPI/Swagger and API documentation standards Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Preferred / Nice-to-Have Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar AI integration patterns Experience with cloud-native security and entitlement models Prior experience in data, finance, or research-driven platforms Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership Disclaimer CodeNinja is an equal opportunity employer.
