Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our expanding Developmental Therapies team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of sensory integration, fine and gross motor development, and functional independence in children. You will play a vital role in assessing developmental challenges, designing personalized therapy programs, and empowering families to support their child’s progress in everyday life. Key Responsibilities ·         Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills. ·         Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance the child’s functional independence in self-care, play, and school activities. ·         Use play-based, child-friendly approaches to improve coordination, balance, handwriting, and sensory regulation. Address challenges such as: o    Sensory processing disorders o    Fine and gross motor delays o    Developmental coordination difficulties o    Handwriting, posture, and motor planning issues Collaborate with parents and caregivers to create home programs that reinforce therapy goals. Maintain accurate session records, progress documentation, and evaluation reports. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (Speech Therapists, Pediatricians, Psychologists, and Educators) for integrated child development planning. Participate in workshops, training, and interdisciplinary meetings for continuous professional growth. Education: o BOT: Minimum 4 years of experience, or o MOT: 0–2 years of experience Skills: o Expertise in pediatric occupational therapy and sensory integration o Strong observational and assessment skills o Excellent communication and documentation abilities o Empathy, creativity, and a passion for working with children
