About the Role Imagine being responsible for the mechanical assembly of turbojet engines in a high precision aerospace production environment As the Turbojet Engine Technician you´ll be focused on building integrating and troubleshooting complex propulsion systems according to engineering documentation quality standards and safety requirements You work hands on with critical engine components supporting assembly testing and continuous improvement on the production floor. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations. What You’ll Do Assemble components of turbojet engines following precise schematics and technical specifications. Execute pre-assembly and assembly inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. Document all assembly activities meticulously, including accurate critical measurements, results, observations, and recommendations for improvements. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and guidelines throughout all assembly procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and testing accuracy. What You’ll Need MBO3+ or equivalent work and thinking level in the field of rotational machinery or mechanics. You are result-oriented, accurate, and have strong planning and organization skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the assembly and testing of turbojet engines. Proficient in the use of tools and machinery necessary for engine assembly. Experience handling accuracy measurement tooling is a must. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals. Good Dutch and English communication skills. Ability to lift and handle heavy engine components safely. Who You Are You are a hands on mechanical technician with strong experience assembling and troubleshooting turbojet engines or complex mechanical systems You work with precision follow technical documentation with confidence and take full ownership of your work on the production floor You thrive in fast paced aerospace environments where quality safety and performance are critical and you bring a proactive problem solving mindset to everything you build
