Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer to join our Transformation Project Team, focusing on clients in the Telco and Energy sectors. Your responsibilities will entail: Develop backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot; Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs; Develop cloud-native applications on Azure , including deployments on AKS (Kubernetes); Work with SQL and NoSQL databases; Use Kafka for asynchronous messaging; Implement caching solutions such as Redis; Create and maintain unit tests; Use Docker and CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying services; Troubleshoot and improve performance of existing services; Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 4+ years of experience in Java Development, specifically with the Spring Boot framework; Experienced in containerized frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes); Hands on experience in using AI tools such as Apache Thrift, GitHub Copilot, Kite, SonarQube, and Eclipse; Hands on experience with AI Tools; Experience with RESTful APIs , Microservices architecture , and CI/CD pipelines; Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL); Good problem-solving and communication skills; Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages.
