One Royal Culture Short Story Royal Electric Company is hiring for CA Certified Journeyman Electricians for our Multifamily Residential and Commercial projects in Monterey (Monterey County). Royal Electric Company; which can trace its humble beginnings to its owner contracting from his home in Sacramento, CA, is now recognized leader in the electrical and utility construction industry in the Western United States. Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities: The Journeyman Electrician will provide leadership, efficient installation of electrical work, training, and quality control. The Journeyman may also be responsible for the development of apprentices and trainees assigned to them. Must possess a current and valid California Journeyman Certification NOTE: Include your Certification Number when applying Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems Use industry related hand tools and power tools Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems Feed to, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc. Splice and terminate wires at junction points Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems Delegate tasks and assist with training other employees Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members Adhere to all Royal Electric Company safety procedures and protocols Graduates from accredited apprenticeships encouraged to apply!! Salary Range: $40.00/hour - $65.00/hour Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment.
