Our Business Development Manager is responsible for developing relationships that lead to sales, managing accounts, and generating new leads across a range of industries to support business growth through our managed services solutions.  What you'll do: Drive new business growth while building long-term partnerships with growing organisations. Be accountable for pipeline health, new customer acquisition, revenue targets, and customer retention. Develop and execute practical business development strategies focused on sustainable growth and recurring revenue. Build trusted relationships with business owners, Managing Directors, CFOs, IT Managers, and operational leaders. Identify and develop new leads through networking, local events, referrals, outbound activity, and community engagement. Manage and grow existing SMB accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to business needs. Run tailored product and solution demonstrations that clearly connect technology outcomes to business impact (efficiency, security, scalability, cost control). Prepare and present proposals and commercial solutions that are right-sized for SMB environments. Sell managed services including IT support, cloud, infrastructure, cyber security, and Hardware as a Service (HaaS), with a focus on simplicity and value. Work closely with Solutions and Delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer success. Maintain strong CRM discipline, accurate forecasting, and clear visibility of pipeline activity. Provide regular territory insights, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities within the SMB market. What you'll bring: Proven success selling into small and medium businesses and consistently achieving revenue targets. Strong understanding of the SMB landscape, including budget sensitivity, cash flow considerations, and practical decision-making processes. Experience selling managed services, IT support, cloud, or technology solutions into growing businesses. Commercial awareness across pricing, margins, and contract negotiation, with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. Confidence engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders in owner-led or lean organisational structures. Ability to translate technical concepts (Microsoft environments, networking, cyber security, cloud) into clear business outcomes. Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with a consultative and approachable style. Self-driven and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering long-term value to customers.
