As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a multi-year initiative to build a whole-of-government (WOG) Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform. Our current focus is on developing automated, user-centric workflows that make it easier for agencies to comply with IM8 policies efficiently. This initiative is a key enabler of digital transformation across whole-of-government. By providing a unified, modern GRC platform, we empower delivery teams to shift left - integrating compliance earlier in the development process - and automating key control checks, allowing agencies to launch their systems faster and more securely. What you will be working on:  Write clean, maintainable code Develop unit tests and integration tests Tackle a wide variety of challenges across the technical stack Participate in regular tech-sharing sessions and team retrospectives Work with designers to understand customer pain points, devise solutions, and iterate through prototyping, testing, and refining Collaborate with DevOps practitioners to manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring fast feedback loops and seamless deployments Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to craft user stories and provide technical analysis Work with the Scrum Master to foster a positive team culture Strong understanding of programming fundamentals Good analytical and problem-solving skills Enthusiasm for learning and self-improvement Effective team player with good communication skills Experience with modern web application technology stacks (preferably Django and React) Experience with AWS native services is a plus Join us and discover a meaningful and exciting career with Assurity Trusted Solutions!
