You will join the #Materials and #Energy #Systems #department and be involved in projects spanning a range of fields including soft matter, interfacial science, surfactant systems and polymer materials. The work will primarily be experimental and will involve application of a range of physico-chemical techniques, both standard and developmental, to study detailed behaviour of these substances and formulations under representative conditions of use together with exploring new phenomena. The majority of the work will be lab-based, carrying out experiments as well as performing the analysis and interpretation of the experimental data. Our interns will work within a team of scientists as an integrated part of the team working on on-going research projects. __ Responsibilities: ​Planning and carrying out experimental work, ensuring that laboratories activities are kept within Health & Safety standards guidelines __ Analysing and interpreting experimental datasets __ Participating in regular meeting to discuss project progress __ Writing technical reports and presenting to peers __ Assist with the laboratory housekeeping​
