What You’ll Do As a Senior Database Administrator, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our enterprise-wide database platforms. Database Reliability Engineering: Architect and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance across Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL environments. Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Lead rapid response efforts for major database incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution to minimize business impact. Performance Tuning & Optimization: Analyze system metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to ensure fast, efficient data access and query performance. Database Architecture & Engineering: Design and evolve database schemas, storage strategies, and deployment models to support new applications and business growth. Security & Compliance: Enforce robust security controls, manage access, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Technical Leadership: Promote best practices and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver integrated, scalable, and secure database solutions. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation, run-books, and post-incident reviews to promote transparency, learning, and operational maturity.
