The #Cost #Engineer is part of the Engineering Services organization within the #Chevron ENGINE Center and is responsible for performing cost #management activities on a capital project or portfolios of upstream and downstream projects. __ This includes cost estimation, budget development, cost tracking, and #financial reporting to ensure projects are completed within budget and financial targets are met. __ Participate in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures as the basis for project budgeting, cost controls, planning, scheduling, and forecasting. __ Assist in the development of project controls plans, cost estimates, and schedules as required by the Chevron Cost Engineering Handbook and Capital Projects Management System (CPMS). __ Support the development of documentation for project funding appropriation and #business planning.
