The job requires the candidate to take internal/external exams & periodic proficiency exams. Perform set-up, #calibration, programming, #operation of automated welding, or #laser machining that meets engine component repair requirements. Perform scheduled maintenance, #housekeeping & process control of the #machines and associated processes. Assist in process improvement and/or development, including but not limited to fixture design, programming, and machine maintenance. Carry out on-job-training for other employees.
