The Technical Lead is responsible for defining the overall technical architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of StoreOps systems. This role drives technical strategy, architectural decisions, engineering standards, and cross-system integration design. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design Design end-to-end system architecture for StoreOps platforms (POS, inventory, supply chain, store reporting). Define microservices, event-driven, or monolithic architectures as appropriate. Design high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems. Create API standards, integration patterns, and data flow architecture. Establish cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure patterns. Technical Leadership Provide technical direction to backend and frontend engineers. Conduct architecture reviews and design approvals. Define coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. Drive performance optimization and system hardening. Integration & Enterprise Alignment Lead integrations with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, payment gateways, WMS, and third-party vendors. Define security models (RBAC, authentication, encryption, compliance). Ensure alignment with enterprise IT standards and governance. Quality & Risk Management Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies. Ensure observability (logging, monitoring, tracing). Drive disaster recovery and business continuity planning. 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ years in architecture or tech lead role. Strong experience in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture. Expertise in REST APIs, event-driven systems, message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ). Database design (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning. Experience in retail/store systems is highly preferred. Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Key Deliverables System architecture documentation. API and integration standards. Technical roadmap. Code quality and architecture governance
