Your challenges Lead Makro’s Other Income (OI) team dedicated to online media and data, driving non-trade revenue growth exclusively through the monetization of proprietary data and digital media assets. This role is responsible for setting strategy, leading the online/data OI team, and managing end-to-end commercialization — from directing the internal data analytics team on analysis and productization, to developing competitive sales strategies and packaging Makro’s online media inventory. The Manager will work closely with advertisers, agencies, and 3rd party partners to deliver compelling offerings, ensure measurable business impact, and position Makro as a leader in online media and data monetization. Define strategy and roadmap for monetizing Makro’s online media and data assets, including Makro PRO. Translate advertiser and customer needs into clear direction for data analysis, processing, and packaging, working closely with the internal data analytics team. Develop competitive, insight-driven online advertising and data products, benchmarking against competitors while highlighting Makro’s unique digital strengths. Package Makro’s digital media inventory into compelling propositions that meet advertiser requirements and maximize revenue potential. Drive sales growth by building and managing strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and 3rd party partners. Lead negotiations, product bundling, pricing strategy, and revenue forecasting for online media and data monetization initiatives. Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs to track sales performance and optimize monetization packages. Collaborate closely with the in-store OI team to develop integrated packages that create synergies across online and offline media assets. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and product mindset. Proven leadership in managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Strong sales, negotiation, and account management capabilities. Highly analytical and data-savvy, with the ability to convert insights into actionable monetization strategies. Excellent communication and presentation skills (Thai & English preferred). Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented with ability to deliver under tight timelines.
