Position: Applications Support Engineer Job Description: Applications Support Engineer We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to Asia Pacific IT Manager, Global Logistics Application, this is a application support role which offers exciting opportunity to demonstrate technical skills to support business strategy and the IT Applications within Arrow’s facilities in Asia Pacific. This role will be based in our Warehouse in Yokohama. The candidate will have great exposure working with stakeholders in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions. What You’ll Be Doing Monitor Systems: Keep an eye on applications and servers to ensure they run smoothly. Fix Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems quickly. Development: Requirements or issue fixes requiring coding Support Users: Help users with their technical queries and concerns. Collaborate with Teams: Work with other teams to solve issues and improve systems. Document Work: Record incidents, solutions, and processes for future reference. Ensure Security: Follow IT policies and maintain system security. What We Are Looking For Typically requires 3-4 years of related experience with a degree; or equivalent work experience. Less experience will be considered. Excellent Analytical skills to understand and replicate the issue/bug and fix accordingly Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Excellent knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports Can work independently Ability to working in multiple culture and complex structure environment Knowledge in Logistics and warehouse are preferred Good English communication is a must and be able to work in overseas time zone occasionally What’s In It For You   At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
