Job Description: Responsibilities - your mission: Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000 Position Summary: The Purchasing Specialist manages ordering activities for Procurement Commodities within France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Portugal. This also includes operational sourcing activities following the Procurement processes and strategies.  Essential Functions:   Review of Purchase Requests (PRs) Purchase Order (PO) creation / update and follow up of POs Operational Sourcing Service Desk activities (provide support to internal stakeholders) Maintenance of info records (e.g. catalogues) Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders (internal customers, buyers)  Use of Airbus ERP Systems (SAP)  Use of other specific tools (Coupa)    Additional Responsibilities:  Support the onboarding of new team members  Support the team leader in reporting tasks    Requirements - our ideal candidate will have: 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement  Communication skills  Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies  Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement  Fluent in English (in a negotiation level)  French, Spanish or German would be a plus Enjoy a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and variety of products and services Shows a lot of reliability rigor and concentration at work Digital Acumen Benefits - what’s in it for you: Diverse career opportunities within Airbus European core countries or in other regions around the world A hybrid working model, allowing you to combine onsite and offsite work A modern office at Parque das Nações, well connected to public transportation A motivated and fun crew to grow and build and shape the GBS together An intense and exciting onboarding experience This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
