We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our HVDC System Design project execution office. This team is responsible for the electrical design and functionality of HVDC converter stations, with a focus on high-voltage systems. As Engineering Manager, you will guide a team of engineers in delivering high-quality results on time. You’ll set the technical direction, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with industry standards across areas such as steady state main circuit design, insulation coordination, transient design, harmonic design, modes of operation and RAM/FMEA/FMECA. “You’ll be part of a diverse and skilled team, with opportunities to deepen your expertise and contribute to the development of reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy transmission solutions. Build a strong and independent team of HVDC System Design engineers. Foster a culture of personal ownership and doing what is right. Minimum 2 years of experience in managing people (manager, mentor, senior engineer etc.) You have a general understanding of electrical power systems and its equipment’s. You encounter your problems – and your teams problems – with a practical engineering mindset and actively ensure that problems are solved. Ability to develop and maintain healthy working relationships. Proven communication skills and fluent in English, both written and verbal. Experience as a System Design Engineer within HVDC is highly advantageous.
